I was just reading on EPA's web site about the April 22, 2010 requirement that contractors working on pre-1978 housing will have to have EPA certification for lead remediation...http://www.epa.gov/lead/pubs/renovation.htmAre you guys doing anything to address that?

This web site is so successful that it is a double edged sword (It ranks high in google, so it is easy to find user information).I shudder to think about a lawyer being able to read your entire "gameplan/strategy" should any disaster occur b/c you asked this community for support.

If a reputable deal from a reputable company is available, they should certianly be registered with the State in which they do business.Never heard of them, but again, use caution, particularly when you must pay funds upfront.

I have used earnest money notes many times, but it's easier to do that if the Realtors know you, or have heard of you, if you have a reputation of closing deals you make.
