For example, I too am a full-time employee, but I've yet to pull the trigger - I would like to go multifamily (2-4plex) as a part-time investor, and collect multifamily doors to generate enough capital to eventually scale up to commercial.

The historical negatives could still be 0 if there was no payment history for past 24 or 48 months, whichever range SmartMove uses, but the status of the tradeline should still trigger a negative I would imagine.
