My concern is renting rooms via permanent supportive housing for homeless as well as co-living facilities for mellinials students and etc.My question is regarding maximum occupancy laws governing the city of Los Angeles.

One side of the town is these plant facilities and buildings and the other side is the nice area with college degree earners etc.The manufacturing jobs that get paid weekly those run more like hotels even though they are not one.

I thought that since I'm house hacking this duplex, I could even offer some of housekeeping services at like a bed and breakfast (minus the cooking breakfast for them).I definitely have a lot of research to be doing.

In my book, if the unit has laundry facilities I would not charge the tenant more for the water usage.  

I love eating home cooked meals with my family, going out on date with my wife and driving a nice vehicle but I don't NEED those things to be happy. 

@Anna Cook, You've got some flexibility but you do want to be careful as well.
