Collecting payments WEEKLY (instead of monthly)

In the book "Mobile Home Wealth" the author makes a strong case for collecting payments weekly instead of monthly. You collect 13 months of rent per year (52 weeks vs 48) and are able to spot and react to trouble faster.

The issue is the added management required for the increased amount of collections. This can be offset mostly by auto-debiting, but you're still going to spend more time collecting money if you bill weekly.

Has anyone attempted this with houses? I think it's a good idea to collect $100 a week from the "mobile home crowd" but collecting $300 a week from house renters may not work out as well. (then again, it could be even better)
