Looks like the home will meet FHA requirements and we will have to pay a bit more to get the crawl space dried out and have some blocks repaired, then have it re-leveled.

So today I was doing maintenance at one of my rentals, I opened the closet to access the central AC handler unit to change the filter and after I opened the closet door,  I had to rearrange a few things to clear the space to the left so I can have a clear path to the filter slot.As I moved some clothes to the right my hand touched what appeared to be a human head on the rack.I quickly jumped back and in my mind was a scene in Silence of the Lambs...I tripped on myself and fell on my butt.I was so scared LOL.Glad the tenant wasn't there.

Also, YOU need to be the person who makes the monthly mortgage payment, or the seller needs to provide you with online portal access to the mortgage lender's website or have statements sent to your address / email - so that you can make sure that it is being paid.

Plumbing - Have the inspector run the water in the sinks and showers while they're checking on the roof or walking through the house, roughly 30 minutes, then go check under the house (assuming there's a crawl space) and if there's any leaks you should see it then.

I'll see if I can round up some local recommendations for a mortgage broker and see what they have to say.Its not as rural around here as it used to be - its all subdivisions and commercial development everywhere ... though the traffic still doesn't hold a candle to the traffic in DC :)Thanks,AmyLenders in that space use websites like idcide.com among others and most do not deviate from the data presented.
