I have been trading up Brooklyn Condos for over 20 years and finally bought the dream apartment a few years ago, 3 bed/3bath, outdoor spaces, parking space, statue of liberty views, etc., and to be honest I wish I would have used the funds to buy a multi family instead. 

Most draw is in the summer because we provide amenities to use in the water like SUPs and kayaks, outdoor fireplace, boat rental, etc.

Once you satisfy the living requirement, try one or both of these strategies to supercharge your rental income...yes, it will take some more work on the front end to set up the furniture, processes, etc.

Are you using for outdoor monitoring? 

Furniture and appliances are sort of a start up cost. 

The appeal of the area is the same (national parks, outdoor activities, etc) with a lower price tag than Jackson.

Will your fee cover the cost of transportation or any helping hands that you hire for furniture assembly?  

I have the wherewithal to furnish serval houses, however I was hoping to use that money to buy more houses versus sinking it into furniture and furnishings.
