How can the lender a deficiency judgement ?

Hiring a lawyer is expensive, especially considering how little the judgement in this case will be for. 

It was a short term loan and I ended up defaulting and the lender foreclosed.Now they’re pursuing me for a deficiency judgement, my LLC and my name.

The thing that most confused me is the final judgement, if someone's winning bid is less than the final judgement amount are they still responsible for the judgement?

If someone buys the property are they on the hook for the ENTIRE final judgement amount?

A title search reveals no mortgage, liens or judgements.
