My fellow BP'ers,I am running into a reoccurring issue lately. For a little background, I am located in the Cincinnati, Ohio market. I am looking for a 2+ multifamily property, the amount of units does not really matt...

I have found the in higher end markets the % is lower due to the inflated rents. 

Well, I'm watching the stock markets fall, interest rates go up, fears of inflation, and crypto crashing (not sure if that's related) and it all points to perhaps a slow down coming which excites me. 

The property will then sit empty forever as the bank tries to sell it at the inflated price.

While your money is in the bank making some pathetic return, the inflation rate is outpacing your rate of return, absolutely, 100%, guaranteeing you a loss in purchasing power.

Looking to start local and navigate through the inflated market before setting our sights out of state.  

Let appreciation and inflation pay down the buy and hold for the long haul.
