Rental property in Gibraltar/Rockwood, MI

Hello,

Just recently my husband and I came across a listing in the Gibraltar/Rockwood area in Wayne County, MI.  It seems like a nice MFH at a reasonable price, and is already rented out.  Since I am from that area, I'm familiar with it.  That which concerns us is that it is sparsely populated.   On the positive side, in Flat Rock,  Ford Mo. Co. will be investing in a project that will provide many jobs... and possible need for housing.  Is that enough to consider that area as a good place to start... since this will be our first investment.  Or should we consider looking elsewhere?
