Then your name is still in there along with the address -  the lender just sees this as asset protection and doesn't even take a second look.By adding your LLC as the trustee, it will add yet another layer of protection as well.Ron LeGrand along with many others have excellent material on how to do this.Of course before making any title or deed changes, consult with your CPA to be sure it won't be a taxable event!

The plaster finish on the interiors of walls just about eliminate any sound transmission.Insulation is an issue, but if you can't insulate in the wall cavity, a layer of rigid foam on the exterior can offer quick payback.

I believe you HAVE to use resilient channel and you HAVE to have a double layer of drywall on the ceiling.

My only fear with doing that is some future regulation that dictates it must be removed which will be even harder with it buried beneath a layer of foam insulation and vinyl.
