To answer your question, no.The population is too small making the pool of rental applicants even smaller.As others have said, the numbers look good (and as you said, they're preliminary), but I bet as you dig in, you'll realize the reason it went to foreclosure had something to do with the recession driving down the rental numbers, etc...Good luckStephanie

Yes, many lessons learned dealing with permitting and having reserves to deal with issues - such as we found termite damage in one building and had to deal with that, plus some water issues that we ended up digging our own well and bypassing municipal water supply which was very costly, especially with two pools.Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

My gut says to dig deeper and get numbers because it seems to be a potentially good long-term investment, which is why I would rather purchase option and find out for sure, then get financing to sell.

Upon further digging it looks like the oldest home is actually 1985.The lot rents in the park across the street are around $600, but that park is 55+ with a pool, clubhouse, double wides etc.

I totally dig the rural parts of CT, but for me they have to be close enough to Hartford county as well ( I do a lot of work in Hartford county, so the commute would kill me if I was much past Glastonbury).

(Sometimes squatters really dig-in I hear)   :)I think the brother figured you may not be as "Accommodating" as his brother he was sponging off of after you signed the papers and had no connection to him.
