I pay someone to cut it once a month so we essentially alternate and it’s cut every 2 weeks.

It's fun, good practice, and instills a habit in you that even as you're driving to work you start sizing up houses you pass and running through numbers naturally. 

I would be happy to have a conversation so that maybe an alternative opinion or second set of eyes would provide some valuable insight.
