What is the average age of the other homes?

Like Dave and Michael mentioned, there are tons of books, podcasts, forums, etc. that really helped me understand some RE concepts I was struggling with.

@Dana Yobst due to the age of the building it's going to be tough to find an Insurance Carrier that will do replacement cost unless the property was gutted and everything has been updated.  

Like mentioned it can depend on goals a lot.

What I didn't mention is that she became a real estate agent last year to get an "insider" view of the factors going into real estate transactions, including the sometimes unforgiving taxes.  

He is my age and just closed on his first rental property.

If it changes hands the lease will have to be honored.It's also worth mentioning that incumbent tenants tend to be less desirable than newly filtered and vetted tenants who pay market rent.

Someone else also mentioned a cover they can put on tubs these days.  

It's worth mentioning, are you sure the PM didn't steal or lose all the rent checks and is covering themselves by blaming the tenants?
