My goals are to learn all aspects of the Real Estate business, but ultimately want to Buy and Hold to live off the passive income.

Hi there,My name is Jeremy, I am 41 and new to real estate investing.My wife and I are entrepreneurs and at this point one of us could easily free up enough time to become a real estate professional and take on our goal of building a large portfolio - for the purpose of long term investing but also the tax benefits (for now) associated with depreciation.We have very little experience.

From the eyes of a GC 2 weeks isn't long enough unless you guys specifically had an agreement to pay faster than that.

I am just starting to learn as much as I can about real estate investing with a goal of supplementing my income after retirement.  

If you can swing a 4plex, that would get you up and running faster, but there are two reasons you might not want a 4plex.  

I know that it all comes down to personal preference and long-term goals, but I was hoping I could get some advice from other members?

But I went ahead because my goal was buy and hold with 100/unit/mo longterm and it seems to do that assuming I can manage the transition from current rent to target rent.
