Looks like you have the landlording part started.I grew up with real estate: so the understanding the market is ingrained from following my mom by watching her.I read a lot of investment book, majored in finance, did bookkeeping..Worked as RE agent for a few month (Asia)What I didn't know was: flipping : had to do one to understand Land lording: my flip didn't flip so learnt land lording on the fly Buy/selling: learnt each project from everyone involved from seller/buyer to inspectorsFinancing: learnt on each project just by talking to brokers/mortgage/bankNew construction : chose to work with builder on live in flip.

Finally I agreed that I would have a name and phone number and address so if IRS got involved we could track people and have more reliability as to accountability in the contract projects.

All evictions in Massachusetts are public records and there is a web site in collaboration with 6 Landlord Associations and Property Owner Associations at http://www.HousingCourtSearch.com that I strongly urge you get involved with an association to gain access too.

One check they clearly cashed, (I got the cleared check from the bank,) yet they wouldn't apply the payment until I provided proof they cashed my check.They recently insisted on communication only through certified mail, or get the lawyers involved.
