You will need to then figure out the square footage of your unit vs. the rental unit.

Agreed with Linda, assuming everything else is the same (condition, sq footage etc). 4/2 is probably more attractive. 

They are classified as RV's and are illegal to live in because of their small square footage except in a few specific situations like you are farming the land, or building a house, or caring for a sick relative.

the lot is 3000 sq ft and building can go upto 65 ft in height .how do I know what sq footage can i build ?  

I bet there are hundreds of hours of footage that are not 'TV' worthy for the editors.

Keep in mind, this is "wall square footage" and not floorplan.   

It's been a solid winner in terms of always occupied and I did buy it cheap and updated it, so forced appreciation and in comparison to newer condos it offers far more square footage for the same rental price. 

I have done some remodeling and construction myself and would hate to see unused square footage the size of a 2 bedroom apartment go to waste,  What types of things would make the space obsolete, so I can be certain to avoid them.

My question is, I'm interested in purchasing a property from a wholesaler, they don't know the square footage and the property itself isn't listed in the tax records.
