It doesn't look like it's only a couple of blocks away, but actually a few miles away.

If you want to live near Seattle, I believe the cheapest housing I've seen is a tiny little ~400 sqft. condo for $45k in Des Moines, which is about 18 miles outside of Seattle.

The DMA is 9.7 million people and the city alone is 234 sq miles.

The comps in the area (within a mile) range from 18,000 to 123,200.

Here's my suggestion, whether it's two hours away or two thousand miles.
