@Brendan Davisgot it - not everyone can house hack and if it doesn't fit your lifestyle, that is fine.  

I don't love the numbers for buying again, but if it's family you can work something out that works for everyone.

It's not for everyone, depending on family and lifestyle, but it is hands down the best way to get started.also, i strongly recommend you read these two threads. 

Keep in mind that these preforeclosures are being hit up by everyone and their grandmother, so building trust and rapport is vital.
