Good morning all,

My name is Catie Conrad. I am a 27 year old, born and raised in the metro Detroit area of Michigan, a former collegiate gymnast at EMU and Pitt, a current Manager of a CS team at a highly functional Sports Tech company, AND (most importantly) I am officially a new homeowner as of today!

I have just purchased a single-family home in Royal Oak, MI, where you can tell she needs a bit of TLC when you take a look at her curb appeal. Fortunately for me, underneath her top layer, she is a beauty just waiting to take her glasses and braces off. Once a little bit of this love is underway, this home will hum in no time. However, it is not a small task in the slightest. According to the inspection, a replacement job must be completed on the roof, windows, doors, siding, soffits, back deck, and front porch, to name a few (which one should I even start with?). I am currently getting A LOT of quotes and looking to find a contractor/construction individual to help with this project over the summer. I gain occupancy at the end of the month, and looking to begin on some of these projects then.

I am a newborn when it comes to the real estate world, but I am trying to retain all the knowledge possible to become successful in this space - building a team, what type of real estate to enter, loan buying options and experience, location location location, you name it. This has always been a massive dream/goal of mine to pursue, so the fact that it is now a time in my life that I can, I am ready to dive into this business, and see all that it has to offer.
