I buy a bunch of home depot and lowes gift cards from office depot to get 5x instead of paying directly at the store earning only 1 point, they also got lots of other gc like amazon you can earn 5x points on. i also rotate between the sapphire reserve, preferred and the business ink preferred.When getting into the credit card points game you have to really research to learn the best deals, sweet spot on award charts and rules.

I buy full sets of stainless looking (not the real stuff) for $1300 from Home Depot.

Home depot has a sealant called ECOBOND to seal the lead paint.

Beyond that I've found that Menards and Home Depot are quite competitive with other sources, Menards will deliver to second floors (with an extra charge); I'm not sure about Home Depot as I haven't purchased any appliances from them lately.  

Just wondering what is everyone doing with the rehab on there properties, i know you get a contractor, but do you have to go shopping on what tile and flooring to use and fixtures to buy etc... or do you just tell the contractor what you want and they get it, and if you do go shopping for flooring or kitchen cabinets and bathroom stuff, do you guys go to lowes or home depot to get them??

I actually fired my last PM after she had me return my $60 Ross rug when she said we didn't need it and bought a couple hundred dollar fluffy rug at Home Depot that was super impractical to clean.

So after driving across town to go to the unit, you see what's wrong and head to Home Depot to pick up the required parts.
