They come in two models; one with a flange and one without, I usually buy one of each just in case, sometimes you'll need two wax rings if the commode is not seating tightly,  you don't want to flood the bathroom  and have to start all over again.Put the commode back, tighten the closet bolts and test for leaks and flow.Clean up the mess you made, clean the equipment before you take it back to the rental store.

If you asked me that question , all I could tell you is I have a 40x60 building , and 3 sea containers worth of tools and equipment from hammers , saws, backhoes ,trucks , trailers , vans , bobcats etc .  

Having a GC is awesome but with one important consideration : They should be good ( I am not defining "good" here because - as long as its reasonable , every one has their own definition of good , for me honesty is the most important thing , for some one else they are better equipped to handle some drama but the price has to be low enough  )Now I wont say its impossible - but its pretty darn tough to find a good GC  .

I'd at least try this before replacing the equipment.

ozone machine is used in hotels, after a fire, basically helps neutralize offensive odors. you may be able to rent one at equipment place.Machine is on a timer, you set it leave and 12 to 24 hours later go in and see if it needs another treatment.

Luckily the gas company will bring the lines to my house for free, but I will have to fund the costs to install the equipment.
