This experience has taught me this past year that it takes about a good 3.5 - 4 months to get somebody out and transition to a new renter.  

I have some cash stashed away, a potential partner with cash stashed away, and would like to transition from the learning phase to the learning by doing phase of my journey (I have no interest in hands-off investing with others).From what I have seen so far, BP will be a great community to become a part of for my goals, and I am looking forward to the journey!

@Jaime Julian When you transition into rehabbing, I propose the following action plan.

Too bad you can't make a softer transition though and keep the day job until the business is paying more, but I think the money will follow.

But it allowed us to transition into having a rental with low carrying costs (more affordable reserve as well) and only one mortgage at first, until we were more comfortable.Justin

Hello,I'm curious to hear of people's personal experience in transitioning from one niche from the next--Preferably taking the leap from managing rentals to OWNING/INVESTING in personal properties***i'm in the process of rental agent to investor/owner

Prior to this change, I was a CRE Loan Officer providing nationwide loans, so I have contacts all over the US.It has been quite a transition and I have worked very hard to gain the trust of whoever I work with, whether it be on the lending side, purchase and sales, leasing, etc. 

If they currently own their home and are not able to pay for it and maintain it, then they will need to transition to other housing.

In 2020 I will hit 20 years in the US NAVY and will retire at 39 years of age and will be transitioning to my next career and I want real estate to be it.
