The gains go back into the IRA or 401k, and in the case of flipping houses - which is considered a trade or business activity - there is a tax implication on the profits from the flip through UBTI (look it up).

I was so "into it" that I registered and started an investment club - the Boise Stock Exchange, where I taught my techniques to others (for free - it was a meetup group).I was met with skepticism from other traders, simply because they had; never traded futures, had heard horror stories about trading futures, knew nothing about how to trade futures, and could not fathom the amount of risk I was taking or the leverage ratio I was employing.

Aaron McGinnis I have tried to hire someone from a trade group (Union membered workers), the only thing that prevents me from hiring them is if they perform a trade, they only perform THAT trade, I have heard horror stories such as electricians not digging trenches because it is not part of their trade (which I find to be BS, only in CA!).
