They just need to make the right choices...It's the same with ignorance...it's all about making good choices: choose to surround yourself with educated people instead of uneducated people, choose to pick up a textbook instead of the sports page, choose to take a couple continuing education classes as opposed to watching reality TV and talk-shows, etc...Again, just like those on welfare, the first (and hardest) step for these people is to WANT to change...

Pat, I have noticed that the Orland Park area has good taxes compared to the surrounding areas (Mokena, Frankfort, Palos Park, Homer Glen).

The neighborhood is really nice and you can tell that all the surrounding homes are very well taken care of.

It's just my observation over many years, but you can often tell how much money someone makes by how much they complain about paying taxes.I've been surrounded by high-earners and wealthy people for much of my career, and low-earners and poorer people for much of my career, and there's a very high correlation between earning less and complaining about taxes.
