Now would be a good time to stress test your personal finances and make sure you have adequate reserves for your family.Tough decision indeed.

At first I stressed about the impending review but once I accepted that there are some people you will never please, my perspective changed to view it as an opportunity to learn how to craft an objective response that demonstrates that the guest was the issue without getting into personal attacks or petty statements.

Other than that, I can’t stress enough the importance of screening your tenants thoroughly.

If you find yourself always assuming your tenants are "scammers", you'll only cause yourself undo stress and headaches. 

But you would probably want to at least wear slacks, a polo shirt, and maybe even button down shirt and tie. 

Who wants to deal with long commutes, high cost of living, more stress, people on top of people?  

If the deal does not feel right to you, why force it and deal with the stress, there will be another deal.

I still don’t understand what equity I have to get on houses for investors or buyers to take it off my hands, and negotiating with sellers is stressful too, I want to get a good deal but they ask for much more.

Im buying a property in a very similar situation, but have stressed that I WANT the tenant in there for another year regardless of market rent being low.
