Hello, I am a college student who is looking to invest in real estate to become financially stable by the time I graduate from my university.

CBRE expects negative demand for office space globally this year and anticipates that rents will decline 3% to 6% next year in most markets.

The house needs some updating (kitchen and bathrooms) but there are 4 bedrooms, one apartment and one cottage, located near a university. 

Additionally I would tap into the Hospital or university networks or other research/teaching hospitals where they have good opportunity to research to host people for shorter period of time. 

As long as the Fed and the Govt control monetary policy and the dollar remains a global reserve currency, this is unlikely to change.
