In my area there are brand new duplexes for sale just waiting for investors.Concerning price to build, you need to look at cost per sq foot for similar quality/feature new construction homes in your area.

im just starting out in REI and I would like a mentor to get my foot in the door..I know that education is key so im trying to build up some capital to get some more training ...I can read books all day but having some hands on experience would help tremendously...I believe wholesaling would be my 1st endeavor since I do I a flip so to speak.. im also looking some investors that do wholesale deals ....just tell me what u are looking for a I will find it for you...im in the NJ area...and there is alot of opportunity out here , I just have to know how to structure the deals ....so please any input would help, thanks so much..

You should have had them switch utilities in their name and confirm it with the utilities company prior to letting them set foot in the house.

Many are owner occupied by grandmas.Add in the destroyed foreclosures as sales comps and its a mess.Zillow seems to take a square foot sales price and figures out the value from there.
