I am trying to get some information from experienced landlords how they have split up utilities in common areas Our house is set up as a 2-story duplex w/ a basement for laundry/storage. 

Storage is a must in a primary home & to be a bit more selfish instead of considering other people’s opinions Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

If I was left to my devices I might've bought some rough property, which might've cut my investment journey short.

In my case, I have residential rentals in one LLC, commercial properties in another, self storage in a third, and my real estate company operates in a fourth.

It sat on the market for a bit and while I was waiting to sell, I missed a huge opportunity to buy into a storage unit facility with my father.

ie safety reasons, aesthetics, and simply that it isn't a storage area for personal belongings?

Does anyone have a thought on either moving their stuff to storage versus leaving in the house for them to remove?

Also has a garage that can be fixed up and maybe be rented out as a storage space or a car garage.
