We’re getting a small shopping center installed supposedly by the end of the year (Marshall’s, Tractor Supply, Grocery Outlet) plus investments in a second “downtown” strip. 

We're starting to see a correction in the supply of STR in central FL which will make things easier for homeowners that can stick it out.My advice: Look for opportunities that are as far up-market as you are comfortable with.

@Bob Stevens - Thank you for taking the time to reply.The same can be said about many markets, so I want to ensure we see the same thing.If you look at the increase in rental prices, the lack of supply, and the increase in building permits, you could say there is an opportunity here.

You overlook the most basic rules of supply and demand.

They do not understand how some of these laws affect supply and cause prices to rise.  

Understand current market trends, including supply and demand dynamics, rental yields, and price trends in the area.- Legal and Regulatory Framework: RERA Approval: Verify that the project is registered with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) and has all necessary approvals. 

We have about 9 months of housing supply, and this is expected to increase in the coming months.
