Dave Lindahl was the featured "Guru Speaker."

The monthly speakers are typically gurus looking to pawn their materials, but the meetings are well attended and there are some serious investors in the crowd.And finally, not to sound like a downer, but the goal of wholesaling a property in the next 30 days w/o spending any money sounds a bit unrealistic.

The speaker was VERY convincing, and managed to sign quite a large percentage of the attendees up to a 3-day real estate course for about $2,500; (I forget exactly how much as many discounts and what have you came into effect the more stuff you signed up for!)

I just attended the 3 day workshop, the speaker was very good and knowledgeable but they promise giving you access to funds and also preforeclosure listings.

never been to that one but been to millionaire possibilities a few times when they have speakers that interest me.

Most people can read twice as fast as people talk, so playing a video at 2 times normal still allows me to understand the speaker, and is about the same speed as reading. 

I went to their free seminar run by some student/associate (1 hour) and they had a guest speaker talk about tax liens (another hour and a half and still going when I left), and left feeling........not sure how to describe it.

The speaker suggested "partnering" with his company to purchase homes.

But most of the speakers are good (of course, you often get hit with the sell-a-thon at the end).There are some smaller groups out there, but none I'm personally familiar with.
