I don't mean to sound harsh (I know it does) especially since it's your friend but I only say it that way because just because a friend is interested does not mean they are serious and it's actually best to put them to this test ahead of time as opposed to trying to get him in on a deal and them running into disappointments later, and potentially affecting your friendship.  

I'm new to the real estate community and don't have much experience or friendships in the business.

Right now I tend to be quite shy and am working on developing friendships and putting myself out there more so I can start building up my social and networking skills.

The Contractor always feels like he is getting the short end and your friendship will diminish over time.

I got into real estate through friendships and the property management world is the extent of my real estate bubble.  

It's nice to meet everyone, and I look forward to great friendships and even partnerships and I'm glad to be a member of Bigger Pockets.

I think that's a awesome  way to create friendships.

Stemming from the success of my short term goal, my long term goal is to develop friendships, partnerships, and hopefully become the successful real estate guru I've set out to be!

It's bad to mix money and friendship because of situations exactly like this.

Is there anyway to find a phone number for a property owner to reach out and build a connection to hopefully obtain a new and upcoming friendship and also see if there fellow investors if they purchased there property with cash ?
