-------Building an ADU in Raleigh is a fantastic way to enhance your property’s value (a whole other discussion there) and increase your property’s income-earning potential. 

It brought in 120k last year, but I think we can bring in much more as we do upgrades including adding an extra story on top and as we run it as a bed and breakfast.  

There is a condominium complex that is fantastic for short term vacation rentals.

The labor hours seem very high for that amount of work which should be one person 4 hours for the top $2200

There are hefty fines and penalties for violating Dodd Frank, on top of making whole the buyer.

On top of that there was an $8,000 tax credit, as an incentive since people weren’t buying.  

The findings are particularly interesting for those focused on the Columbus, Ohio market, which topped the list for both two-bedroom and three-bedroom rental searches.The report also notes a shift towards more apartment searches, influenced by the scarcity of single-family homes and rising interest rates.

My personal example is a one bedroom condo I’ve held my entire adult life - and this is in a top tier market - Dupont Circle neighborhood in Washington DC.
