My husband and I are happily liquidating our furniture stores of twenty five years, selling off the prime comercial real estate and putting it all into residential rehab investments.

Who pays for damage to the furniture, missing dishes/utensils, etc.?

Would the condo or the owner be responsible for removing damaged furniture, wet carpet, etc... 

Hey everyone,I wanted to post and see if anyone who’s more experienced than myself can help me understand rough estimates for painting, drywall repairs and cleaning costs for a rental on the west side of Cleveland.To give some general information, there’s some dry wall cracks, painting of the entire interior which is 850 square feet and deep cleaning of the entire interior since the former tenants left behind a fair amount of food and broken furniture.

If everyone moves out on the 30th, then everyone has to keep furniture in a truck overnight to move in on the first.

If this is a class C property then make your office class B in terms of furniture, design, and amenities. 

You can tell what is garbage, but when it comes to furniture, someone else's junk is someone else's treasure. 

They did take every appliance and left some of their garbage furniture for me to deal with, but based on other stories I've seen, I got pretty lucky.

They left almost all their big furniture.

I just had tenants that were fine for about 6 months (inherited), and had been in there for about a year and a half total by time they left after me owning it for 6 months.When they left they left all their junk furniture behind and didn’t pay last month rent.
