I'm sorry you have health issues but we need to rent the unit, if you can't move forward by x date we will rent to another tenant (and whatever the hold deposit agreement says).

Your biggest risk if you execute the plan will be running out of money in retirement, either due to natural longevity and/or later health issues draining your resources.

Upon inspection they're looking for health and safety features such as working fire alarms, GFCI's and such. 

I don't see at this time for health care workers any walkable locations to hospitals and there also isn't the attraction of living in the city like Boston.
