@Chris Seveney I’ve never seen one of their reports so I can only say read the terms in fine print that accompany the report.

Hello everyone,This is kind of a weird question but my fiance  and I will be attending our first REIA meetup this weekend and it occurs to me that every businessman I’ve ever met says you must have business cards at networking events, and we have none.Now my first thought is, we haven’t made our first deal and are still planning to pull the trigger in about 2 months, so it really feels sorta presumptuous to print off business cards which say anything real estate related.On the other hand, having never really been to a meetup not related to my day job where I would totally have business cards, I’m unsure if it’s really bad etiquette not to have them.So my quick poll is, as people who have done this way more than me, what do you guys think?

All this is, is when the time comes to sign documents, the title company either emails the documents to the buyer for them to print themselves, take to a notary, and sign.

I have a Illinois Notice to Quit form printed out and I plan on overnighting this to the property today via certified mail.

I looked into Cozy and the long wait for my money was a big turn off.For those tenants that want to pay with cash or check I produce bank deposit slips with account and business information printed on them.

Print out EVERY single email correspondence regarding this transaction, both received and sent, immediately so you have a hard copy.  2. 

Should I just edit and re-print the lease with updated info (LLC) / payment instructions and have them re-sign and return? 

(HOWEVER, DO NOT CASH THAT CHECK or print it out BECAUSE YOU ARE JUST CREATING A PAPER TRAIL IN QUICKBOOKS. 

I spoke with a guy that does really well in real estate.He told me that printed bandit signs are not very effective, that he hand writes everyone.He told me that hand written signs are 10 times more effective, so that it what I am now doing.And I just let karma handle the rest...
