I could be misunderstanding how this deal was structured, but wouldn't the seller who is on the underlying mortgage have an incentive not to let it go into foreclosure since their credit is at stake?

@Stefano Vrolijk it all depends on your credit history, whether you have an SSN/ ITIN and how much you can put down.

My first ad budget was $295.00 credit I got from my local news paper. 

They could even hire you to do the work on the house and instead of paying you they could just give you a credit at closing.

I finished all the degree requirements only to discover I was extremely burned out and had to complete another year of electives to satisfy a minimum number of credits at that university.

All that said, we just met them in the middle and gave them the credit because we wanted it to be over.

And when you said the management company takes a 550 credit score , all I see in your future are evictions .   

I’d hold the PM accountable for poor oversight—they should’ve been more proactive.That said, it’s also important to weigh the long-term relationship with your PM.

There is a processing fee if you choose the credit card option, but a direct ACH has no additional charges.
