These people are not getting loans they can't afford so they are not going to be walking away from houses en masse.And in areas here in the rust belt, we still are not seeing new construction come back in any meaningful way.

I agree with Sue Anne Cho that it would probably be best to find a buyer first before setting up a contract so you don't get stuck with it if you're having a hard time finding a buyer.

@Dan Cho - If the seller is carrying $500K and you are putting in $200K you should not need any other subordinate financing.
