The house have a nice landscaped backyard with an area for growing whatever vegetable/spices/flowers they want.

I did find a few violations regarding vegetation etc., but nothing to stop me from moving forward.

There was no tall concrete wall to block the noise, only the heavy vegetation naturally growing there. 

We had a tree company to clear out some old dead trees and vegetation.

.• Properties with lush vegetation require more maintenance than properties with little or no vegetation.Below is a typical Las Vegas single family home.As you can see, there is not a lot to maintain. 

we are working on this house, and done some major updates..opened up the kitchen.before:after:designed the kitchen layout, will have under cabinet lights:i am super excited about this house, we will be pulling out the bushes and cut the tree in the front (my favorite part, removing silly vegetation close to the house).we might have to stop again for awhile while we button up #25 (already rented) and fix up #26 (much closer to rent ready than this one). we are threating this as a "work on it when we have time", rather than our main project.

Not a bad idea, maybe Ill invite everyone from this thread to my backyard when i get the patio build done this summer :-)  Or someone @Ryan Arth ;-) could organize an informal akron BP meetup at the Mustard Seed Highland Square, mezzenaine, indoor-outdoor options ... coffee wine beer organic vegetable juices something for everyone 

Also I think the climate change argument is BS, we have Alberta oil companies using inefficient practices generating a lot more pollution.Also on global scale as much as we can possibly pollute is really nothing, we have such an extensive amount of vegetation our carbon footprint as a country is easily a positive one in relation to our relatively low population.
