I'm not questioning anyone's reputation, but I can tell you from experience that your reputation stops at the courthouse doors in many respects as it can quickly become unraveled by the evidence provided in court.

On the bright side I did get some good leads that are kind of unraveling at the moment, and just missed out on 2 deals that actually went to investors.

Now that two more iFunding execs have joined the conversation maybe they can either answer it now.My concern is when this deal was starting to unravel, how did iFunding get control of the asset?

It is more cost effective to start over than to unravel this and try to find a faulty party through the court as the court would tell you the same as well as an attorney if he is honest and experienced.

Our tax returns are 125 pages long and have all sorts of little historic twists and turns that only my accountant can unravel if I ever was questioned.

A lot of times people that act like they don't, know exactly what they want... or people genuinely have no idea and you can help them unravel it and see if any of it works for you.

You are probably only looking at $300-$400 for a Tax expert to handle this transaction correctly from the beginning, but if you start trying to transfer the property or handle it incorrectly it may end up costing you several thousands after the fact to unravel a mistake.  

If you ever have a major lawsuit, and you have a single member LLC, it is not all that difficult to have it all unravel on you personally if there is an aggressive attorney on the other side.

Transactions can unravel right before closing, as a result, and the damage from losing a sale like that can be costly.
