Hi Ron, it depends on the texture of the walls, finish of paint and quality of paint but usually rolling is easier for most people.

AND textured for $2,000.Drywall guys like to tell you that texture costs more, but keep in mind that it actually costs them LESS to provide texture.

Seems like a good way to switch out patters and change the whole feeling of the kitchen with a cool pattern or textured fluting.
