@John Keane A few comments:-If you aren't able to raise the funds from your closest friends and family it is unrealistic to believe you will be able to raise the money from anyone more distant to you.

Highly recommend @Lien Vuong she commented below and has helped a lot of our clients start of expand their investment property portfolio. 

Was looking for a syndication comment but it never came up.The segment you are referring to is where he actually lost $120,000 on a SFH flip deal.  

., I believe the heart of Jaron's comment is: in general, you will not find much better deals at auction.
