If I have some cash do you recommend clearing the loan or invest instead for next property with proper planning ? 

Building a cabin in a tourist destination that does not have easy access to gas or electric.So I will need to run electric line anyway and considering installing underground propane tank, is it worth it?

Like Matthew said just properly screen tenants.

Stairs are the only way to get in, no grab rails in the bathroom, ramps that are too steep, etc.From what I've read, all commercial businesses/buildings (including ones before the ADA was passed) have to comply with the rules, unless it would be outrageously tough to fix (like installing an elevator in an already built building).Are all these local business just not complying and taking the risk, or am I missing something? 

Along with a kiddy-pool sized litterbox in one corner of a room, cat urine and feces in the OTHER corner of the room on the carpet (newly installed by the seller when I bought), and a smell that made my eyes water walking in the front door.The lease has a clause for Tenant-Caused Damages resulting from tenant negligence.
