It takes fortitude to keep going and it sounds like you have a lot of it. 

Do you have that kind of patience and fortitude?

I wonder though, if I would have had the fortitude to take that same chance were I making close to $100,000 annually as an MBA graduate from a top program.I believe that the MBA mindset that is instilled is one which seeks the highest possible salary and the largest number of material comforts available.  

You are assuming a person is inconsistent, has low integrity, and even lower fortitude.

It is a slipper slope.I had to clear out an entire 4 family and it took a lot of work/ intestinal fortitude.

I admire those who have the intelligence and fortitude to try to make money other than an hourly wage. 

To the point of the OP, a big part of success is studying other successful people, consistenly doing all you can to learn from them and develop the habits that help those people and then often it's having the patience and fortitude to last long enough for your 'lucky break/s' to come.

It's going to take some fortitude to write the first check, but that's all the more reason to get a great first deal.On that front, as a numbers guy, I've gone ahead and built a fairly simple financial model to quickly analyze the numbers using some high-level assumptions.

They're doubting Americans strength, fortitude , intelligence and financial wherewithal.
