When there is a sum of money in the bank, I’d rather buy another property than pay for fire damage, and I’m happier with the insurance coverage.

Hi, I noticed there was new casita/ADU laws that went into effect in Jan 2025.

I would love to maximize cash flow but also do not want to be left on an island if there is damage.
