This isn't a foolish line in the sand that I'm drawing, I'm dealing with a pattern of unfulfilled promises, unresponsiveness, and delays without even an attempt at explanation that put me in the position of having to act as if nothing being said is real. 

I realize no one has a crystal ball, but I see no scenario where the housing shortage did not get worst in coastal CA by the elimination of 1000s of homes.As stated I agree with your sentiment. 

I have looked at other coastal markets that are less expensive than Charleston proper.

Most of the advice you get on BP is limited to the real estate sand box (duh.) - in 2025 your energy is better spent on a business than a duplex that cashflows $200 or less.

Both sides haven’t been touched since 1980’s and outside def needs some love.

As they are in their mod to late 70's and in declining health. 

.- The signed P&S and the arears cleared up will stop the foreclosure.  

I was in the nieghborhood a lot in the early 90's and it was rough then also.
