Nate,this propertie is in Barton/McFarland neighborhood not so worst like Morningside (from the other BP member) but has many burglarys and some thefts there no shootings this year.I know from the other topic there was BP members with help offers check this out maybe you find a good one.

I'm not upset with ABC that the burglary happened.

I wanted to hear from other people as to suggestions on how to improve the Security and reduce the chance of burglary?

My roommate and I pitched in and we were able to get the house 99% done by mid-Oct – this included a 6’ secure fence along with a new secured sliding door, the old one being a serious weak point during the 2nd burglary. 

Not sure about Missouri, but I believe in most states, that would be considered burglary, or at the very least "breaking and entering".
