Some banks and lenders will calculate your Heloc payment based on the Max limit even if you only have a small portion used due to preventive risk. 

You can deny a showing, but you cannot prevent/discourage someone from applying.

This would also prevent me from using the HELOC for a different type of investment like BRRRR or fix and flip.

To be transparent, there is not 100% full proof way of preventing fraud.

That is in the contract as a deterrent to prevent an owner from using our services to find a high-quality resident and then moving the management, thereby hurting our reputation with the residential community. 

We require that allanimals be on a flea and tick preventive program.
