There is a cap on short-term rental permits in Breck and in Summit County ... and both caps are well over the limit.I'm not against AI, but these types of un-vetted responses can harm new investors. 

It’s definitely still possible to make the numbers work with a Cape Cod rental, but you’ll need to be selective.

Instead of a cap call maybe ask to join the preferred so at least you get to offset your loss's .. ??? 

In most markets, there is a cap on tax rise when you own the property, but once it sells, it goes uncapped and you will owe the full tax on the current assessed value.

And in doing so I realized that it’s going to be $2k more per year to insure it for replacement value of $145k vs before it was mostly just liability insurance plus a cap of $15k replacement payout. 

NY has a cap on the % that public adjusters can charge.  

Is there a cap to how many loans you can have?

As I mentioned to April, I am in Phoenix, AZ, and the few places I have called about full service were in the 8-10% range and didn't have a capped amount. 

However, the goal would be to increase the amount of units rented to close to 100%, maximizing income, then potentially outsource management duties - either by hiring a capable manager/maintenance person, or by getting a property management company involved. 

Finding a capable and trustworthy co-host, only to dump them after a short period of time for tax reasons?
