I went with him one day.. now to be fair he had a bunch of Victorians that had 4 to 8 doors in each building so it was not like dirivng to 100 houses.

W&J College is near, but that area of town is nicer and has a bunch of new dorma and old victorian's turned into dorms.

I've seen some lovely 19th century homes that have already had a lot of work done on them (so safe wiring, no asbestos, etc), but I've also seen some horrid Victorian bungalows that would cost far too much to get to a liveable standard.If you can take the time to check things out for yourself, you may find some great deals.

I unintentionally got in to the landlord business when we bought our second home, it is an 1890 Victorian money pit with a one bedroom apartment above a 2 car detached garage.
