That annual maintenance that's being discussed is usually a mandatory thing (to keep warranty in place) and must be performed by a licensed Contr/Installer....I would always default to a good ole tanked gas WH (or electric if gas is not available on property)

In this case, it's not that we 'ran out of water', it's simply that we 'have too many people'.In the case of the SW water supply, it could be easily solved...... if good ole California would just start desalinating the ocean water.

Also, I don't think it would hurt to have some cash liquid to take advantage of any pullback in prices.Off topic... but as an ole stock junky I have noticed a bid coming into many of the REITs over the past 6 months or so.
